PMI Equipment manufactured and purchased in mid-2018 or earlier may utilize the Verizon 3G network for remote communication.
What does this mean for you?
PMI equipment enabled on the 3G network will lose cellular communications functionality by the end of the year.
Revolutions and Guardians with 3G modems will continue to function as a standalone PQ recorder, but will require another mechanism for communication, such as USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, or WiFi. Boomerangs with 3G modems will no longer be functional.
